Highlight of This Tour: Meteora Monasteries

1st Day - Departure from Athens and transfer through the towns of Thebes, Livadia (may have a quick stop) and Arachova to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. One and a half hours aprox at leisure at Delphi to stroll the picturesque village, enjoy the breathtaking scenery from the slopes of mount Parnassus till Itea, take pictures and enjoy a " Greek Coffee" or follow the guide to guide you at the Delphi Site (Entrance fee is included for the Ancient site). In the afternoon departure through Central Greece and the cities of Lamia (may have a quick stop), Trikala to Kalambaka, a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks, and crowded by the Meteora Monasteries.
Overnight stay in Kalambaka (Meteora).

2nd Day - Visit to Meteora enjoying a unique and most impressive scenery of ageless monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between Earth and Sky atop huge rocks. Return to Athens passing by the monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae.
Arriving in Athens early evening.

Children Discounts:
Children of 1 up to 4 years of age and not occupying a seat in the coach are carried free of charge and not entitled any facilities.
Children of 4 - 12 Years Old on all Day Tours and Cruises pay 75% of the adult fare.
On all longer tours ( 2 days – 8 days tours) Children pay 75% of the adult fare when sharing accommodation with 2 adults unless indicated otherwise

Pick Up & Drop Off Points::
Pick up and drop off point for each tour, will be, either your hotel in Athens center or from a pre advised place within walking distance of your hotel. For customers staying in private houses or hotels not in Athens center, we advise them upon confirmation the closest point with easy access.

Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted but all tours make frequent stops.

Entrance fees to the archaeological sites and museums are included to the tour rates shown above unless is indicated otherwise.
All tours are operated by Air Conditioned coaches and are accompanied by English speaking guide.

Clothing: Entrance to Churches and Monasteries visited in our tours is not allowed to gentlemen and ladies with no proper outfit.
