Ancient Olympia - Delphi
1st Day - Leave of Athens early
in the morning to the Corinth Canal via the coastal road of the
Saronic Gulf. Pass by the Corinth canal (quick stop to take pictures),
then on to Epidavrus visiting this Ancient Epidaurus Theatre. Then
through the plain of Argos on to Mycenae. Visiting the Archaeological
site - the Lion Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, the Palace and the tomb
of Agamemnon. Leave in the afternoon via Tripoli - Megalopolis to
Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Overnight in Olympia.
2nd Day - Visit to the archaeological
site in Olympia with the temple of Zeus, the temple of Hera, the
altar of the Olympic flame, the Ancient Olympic Stadium and the
museum of Olympia. Departure from Olympia via Patras to Rion, cross
the Corinthian bay to Antirion via the bright new bridge (the longest
bridge in Europe). Drive to picturesque Nafpaktos and from there
on, via the scenic new road along the coast, to Delphi. In the evening
you will be visiting the picturesque mountain village of Arachova.
Overnight in Delphi.
3rd Day - Visit to the archaeological
site in Delphi, the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle and the
Museum of Delphi, with it?s spectacular finds, including the bronze
Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos. Return
to Athens in the evening

GENERAL NOTES & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Children Discounts:
Children of 1 up to 4 years of age and not occupying a seat in the coach are
carried free of charge and not entitled any facilities.
Children of 4 - 12 Years Old on all Day Tours and Cruises pay 75% of the adult
fare.
On all longer tours ( 2 days – 7 days tours) Children pay 75% of the adult fare
when sharing accommodation with 2 adults unless indicated otherwise
Pick Up & Drop Off Points::
Pick up and drop off point for each tour, will be, either your hotel in Athens
center or from a pre advised place within walking distance of your hotel. For
customers staying in private houses or hotels not in Athens center, we advise
them upon confirmation the closest point with easy access.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted but all tours make frequent stops.
Entrance fees to the archaeological sites and museums are included to the tour
rates shown above unless is indicated otherwise.
All tours
are operated by Air Conditioned coaches and are accompanied by English speaking
guide.
Tour itineraries
and the order of visiting sights, may vary slightly from time to time
Clothing:
Entrance to Churches and Monasteries visited in our tours is not allowed to
gentlemen and ladies with no proper outfit.
You are
kindly requested to present your self at the pick up point 10 minutes prior
the pre advised pick up time.
