Villas with spectacular views of the volcano
Fanari Villas, is built right on the cliffe edge, in the village
of Oia, (IA), and due to its location (a few minutes from the village
centre) provides the relaxing atmosphere of the vacation that you
are seeking. Oia, is one of the most beautiful villages in Greece
and especially in Santorini, with a world-wide reputation for its
unique and beautiful sunset over the Aegean sea. The Santorinean
night life along with Oia's shopping opportunities are just a five
minutes walk from Fanari Villas.
Fanari Villas, is only a five minute walk from the centre of Oia
by steps. You can find numerous jewelry, clothing and traditional
gift shops, mini markets, bakeries, pharmacy and small tavernas
where you can savor the Greek Cuisine as well as restaurants of
a more European atmosphere.
The capital of Santorini, Fira, is only a 25 minutes distance and
the airport 35 minutes, driving.
Fanari villas are decorated in a unique santorinean style using
the volcanic lava and the "Santorinean earth"
as the basic building materials. The villas are built some 180 metres
above sea level, under the famous Oia windmill, on the side of a
steep cliff.
The villas can easily accommodate from 2 to 4 persons with their
traditional bedrooms (double or twin beds) and living areas. Both
the kitchenette and the bathroom maintain the same Santorinean volcanic
architecture, while equipped with modern facilities (mini oven,
fridge, coffee maker, boiler, hair dryer...).Some of the bathrooms
have showers and some simple bath tubs or jacuzzi. All villas have
direct telephone, colour TV., radio and safe deposit boxes, private
veranda or terrace, overlooking the caldera.
The fresh water swimming pool is half open and half cave covered
and it has its own jacuzzi/whirlpool area.
From the pool bar you can enjoy fresh fruit cocktails, delicious
ice creams and refreshments. On the sun terrace there are umbrellas
for the hot days of summer and sun beds for relaxing and improving
your sun tan. Of course pool towels are available during your stay.
On the terrace, in the main snack bar, under the reception, you
can enjoy your special Santorinean breakfast, your light lunch or
your evening "aperitif" accompanied by light snacks, while
enjoying the everlasting Santorini sunset.
