Paros
Island , Cyclades Greece - The Heart of Cyclades
Sand...Sea...and Sun..!
PAROS island, is what Greek holidays are all about!
Located in the heart of cyclades islands, Paros island is in many ways
the perfect example of what we call Cyclades
Islands.
It's lively and attravctive port of Parikia, the capital
of Paros island, it is a maze of winding streets (deliberately designed
to confuse invading pirates, long enough to the islanders to eascape)
which are now full of fascinating shops, smart restaurants and tavernas.

NAOUSSA, a unique fishing village, that combines the glory
of history with the natural beauties and the hospitality of the people.
Narrow, white paved streets, small churches almost in every corner.
The town that hugs the typical port with the old ruined castle and the
colourful fishing boats and the famous smells of "gouna" and
"souma" among the tables of the numerous ouzeri, and gives
to Naoussa this special and peaceful image, that everyone can remember
afterwards.
AROUND the coastline there are numerous wonderful sandy
beaches with safe swimming in warm clear waters.
Paros island is large enough to keep you busy exploring the island by
hire car or local buses for several days, before you turn your sights
on trips to neighbouring islands such as Naxos,
Mykonos or even Ios
and Santorini island.
ANTIPAROS island, is a tiny satellite island, just across
the water from Parikia town, with a superb sandy beach and a little
resort village of its own.
The village of Antiparos has a nice harbour street lined by small cafes,
tavernas and ouzeris, where you can enjoy a meal or a drink watching
the colourful fishing boats. It's worth visiting the Medieval castle
of Antiparos, built at the beginning of 1400s, and a very nice market
street, full of nice shops offering very good prices.

Paros due to its position and importance, is linked not only to Piraeus
(The port of Athens) and Rafina, but also to all the islands of the
Cyclades (Naxos, Mykonos, Ios, Santorini, Syros, Tinos, Sifnos), the
Dodecanese, Samos, even Crete island .
The possibilities offered are limitless, both in moving around and in
your stay, since Paros has an excellent tourist infrastructure.
PAROS ISLAND, apart from its own beauty, gives good
reasons to anyone who might want to have an
all-around holiday with a good selection of things to see and do, fine
sandy beaches and lively nightlife.
